Minority rules:
Scientists discover tipping point for the spread of ideas

Scientists at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have found that when just 10 percent of the population holds an unshakable belief, their belief will always be adopted by the majority of the society. The scientists, who are members of the Social Cognitive Networks Academic Research Center (SCNARC) at Rensselaer, used computational and analytical methods to discover the tipping point where a minority belief becomes the majority opinion. The finding has implications for the study and influence of societal interactions ranging from the spread of innovations to the movement of political ideals.

What this means is we only need 10% of the population to understand how these few individuals are robbing us and enslaving us to transform the narrative society believes in, to stop them.

The Geographical far away position had been the reason Nazi Germany could never attack the USA directly using the available technology at the time of WWII, therefore the US escaped the destruction that left Europe, Russia and Japan in ruins after the war.
This is one of the conditions that escape the popular narrative prizing the US for its wealth as a capitalist success proof of its achievements after the war, when not only there was no effective competition for US products from all these countries devastated, but instead those countries were net customers of those US manufactured goods they couldn't produce for their own markets.

Moreover the "Brain Drain" accelerated from all over Europe with the best trained minds moving to the only country with its factories intact, the research labs thriving and willingness to accept them, offering jobs and security for technicians, scientist, intellectuals and their families.

Even old Nazis like the famous Von Brown in NASA benefited by the hundreds when Operation Paper Clip searched for them, brought to the to US, gave them a new identity and well paid jobs, while keeping it secret from the population.

This condition of false security was obliterated after the Soviet Union tested its first atomic bomb and especially after they placed, ahead of the US, the first "sputnik" in orbit around the world, showing they could deliver an atomic bomb to the US heartland if they chose to.
It was after this discovery that teachers in the US began their ridiculous training of school students to hide below their desks, in case the alarm sounded a missile was coming from Russia.

It was during these times that the "Cuban Crisis" was happening in 1962 and as shown in the Film, when this man became the savior of human civilization by refusing to deliver the nuclear bombs these Soviet submarines were carrying while being attacked by US destroyers off Cuban waters.
